Weston and Natalie...

Weston absolutely adores Natalie. He is always concerned for her well being. Natalie had her one month check up yesterday and he played the roll of protective brother again...kicking the Doctor and telling him NO...and telling Natalie "it's Okay..Naaattaallie" and patting her belly. It was pretty cute. Needless to say when it was time for the shots he was not a happy camper.
Natalie is doing really well. She is a chunkie monkey..she is now weighing in at 10lbs 9.5oz. and she is 22 1/2 inches long!! She is growing like a weed!
She has been a little colicky so that has not been fun..it hasn't been too bad...hopefully she is almost over this phase.
Weston is always kissing her and hugging her... he really wants her to play with him, so he is always trying to put his toys in her hands..sometimes she will grab one and he thinks it's hilarious! It's fun watching them interact.

Natalie's Two week check up

Natalie's two week check up was last week! (I'm a little behind on posting..sorry) She is doing very well...last week she was already up to 8 and a half pounds which is really great...she was born at 7lbs 9 oz. and she has gained an inch in her height which is also great! Weston was a very protective brother at the Dr.s office, at first he thought he was there to get poked at, then he realized he wasn't but when they started poking at Natalie Weston took a swipe at the Dr.s leg and said "NO". We had to calm him down a little but he was not super happy about the situation.

It's Saturday!

Today we had Natalie's two day check up. She is doing great. For weight she is back up to 7lbs 6oz., she had lost 6 oz. in the hospital which isn't bad at all. She has a little bit of jaundice but not enough to cause a concern, Weston's was a lot worse, so to us she looks great!

Later in the day we decided to go to the pool since it opened for the season today!!!! Woooohooooo!!! Weston and Daddy had a great time. Natalie and Mommy stayed in the shade and just relaxed. Here are some pictures...

A first for us...

We just got back from the doctor and Weston has managed to get his first ear infection. Last night he woke up around midnight talking gibberish...so I went up to check on him and I noticed he was burning up. So I took his ear temperature and it was 106 which caused a lot of concern, so then I took his rectal and it was 103.4 which is still a pretty good fever. Needless to say Mommy and Daddy were worried most of the night and Mommy ended up sleeping with Weston in his bed. So we had a pretty long night last night. But for being sick, Weston is in good spirits and silly as ever. Although of course he did not like being poked by the doctor but after we left and he was able to get a sucker he was back to being silly. We are grateful that he has been such a healthy baby and feel incredibly blessed that this is the first time we have had to deal with an ear infection. Anyway, I know this is a boring post...but this is what's going on in our house today!
